Edward J. Keefe, 95, of Trenton, Ohio, died on Monday, March 31, 2003, at Middletown Regional Hospital. He was born in Wilmington, Ohio on August 6, 1907 to John and Margaret (Reardon) Keefe.
He was an electrician for the Cincinnati Gas & Electric Company for over 46 years. Mr. Keefe was the founder of the Trenton Historical Society and started the Trenton History Museum. He was a member of Holy Name Catholic Church.
Edward is survived by, two daughters: Evelyn Keefe of Trenton, and Kathleen (Adrian) Arnold of Hamilton; one son: Patrick (Wanda) Keefe of West Chester; seven grandchildren; and four great grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Agnes Marie Keefe; his parents; a daughter, Loretta Arndt; and a brother, Joe Keefe.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held Thursday, April 3, 2003 at 10:00 AM at Holy Name Catholic Church, 222 Hamilton Ave., Trenton, with Father George Klein as celebrant. Visitation will be Wednesday, April 2, 2003 from 6-8 PM at Wilson-Schramm-Spaulding Funeral Home, 3805 Roosevelt Blvd. at Bonita Dr., Middletown. Interment will be at Brookside Cemetery in West Chester.
