Edward Wells

Edward Wells, 85, of Germantown, passed away Sunday, February 25, 2018. He was born in Trenton on November 5, 1932 to parents Alfred and Cannie (Agee) Wells.

Ed was an avid trader and loved flea markets all his life. He held several jobs during his work career, his favorite being painting. He held painting positions at several locations including Armco (AK) Steel, retiring from the Painter's Union more than 20 years ago. During his last years he spent many hours at McDonald's and Arby's in Middletown, where you would find him trading and talking to his retired friends.

Mr. Wells is survived by his son, Vincent (Kathy) Wells; step-daughter, Rhonda (Doug) Koenig; step-son, Rodney (Linda) Preston; brother, Kenney (Shirley) Wells; sisters, Delores Jean (James) Puckett & Patty (David) Nipper; nine grandchildren, Bridgette, Heather, Kelli, Sean, LaDenna, Sarah, Christy, Terry & Robert; seven great grandchildren; and multiple nieces & nephews. He was preceded in death by his wife, Joy Ann (Dean) Wells; parents; brothers, Okey Wells, Leonard Wells & Harvey (Wilma) Wells; and sisters, Marion (Reed) Campbell, Eunice (Lee) Kasikas & Marie (Delbert) Riley.

There will be a graveside service only on Friday, March 2, 2018 at 1:00 pm at North Monroe Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, the family asks that you make memorial donations to American Cancer Society, 2808 Reading Rd., Cincinnati, OH 45206.
