Eleanor Mcmahon

Eleanor Elizabeth (Hamm) McMahon, 96 of Monroe, died Tuesday December 30, 2008 at Mt. Pleasant Retirement Community. She was born June 21, 1912 in Beloit, Wisconsin to parents John and Jennie (Swatek) Hamm.

Mrs. McMahon was a nurse and co-owned Hose Flower Shop.

Eleanor is survived by a stepdaughter Joanne Brooks and many nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husbands; Ivan Hose, George Brooks and Joseph McMahon, brothers Albert and John Hamm, sisters, Marilyn Routson, Ruth Bell and Martha Romans.

Funeral services will be Saturday January 3, 2009 at 10:00AM at Wilson Schramm Spaulding Funeral Home, 3805 Roosevelt Blvd.

Interment will be at Fairview Cemetery in Gratis.

In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to Mt. Pleasant 225 Britton Ln. Monroe, OH 45050.
