Eli R. Plant, 78, of Fairfield Township, died Sunday, March 23, 2008, at Hawthorn Glen Senior Living Campus. He was born in New Brunswick, Canada on January 10, 1930 to parents Glen and Betty (Malm) Plant.
Mr. Plant earned his BS degree from Franklin University and worked as an accountant for over 25 years. He was a musician and singer.
Eli is survived by his wife, Goldie (Clutter) Plant; five children, Susan (Joe) Pearce, Natalie (Gary) Garrison, Cynthia (Tony) Lewis, Nathan (Sheila) Plant, and Brian Clutter; two sisters, Mona (Milton) Hollaway and Sharon (Jerry) Sigler; a brother, Les Plant; and 12 grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents; and sisters, Leola Moore and Jean Hilderbrand.
Funeral Service will be held Thursday, March 27, 2008 at 10:00 AM at WILSON-SCHRAMM-SPAULDING FUNERAL HOME, 3805 Roosevelt Blvd. (at Bonita Dr.), Middletown, with Reverend Ray Phillips and Reverend Daniel Hidlebaugh officiating. Visitation will be Wednesday, from 6:00 - 8:00 PM at the funeral home. Interment will be at Union Evangelical Cemetery near Baltimore, Ohio.
