Eli Tirey

Eli Tirey, 73, of Trenton, went peacefully, surrounded by his family on Tuesday, January 19, 2010, at Hospice of Hamilton. He was born in Booneville, Kentucky on January 9, 1937 to parents Wilburn and Nellie (Bailey) Tirey.

Eli worked for Ohio Casualty Insurance Company for 42 years, retiring in 1999. He enjoyed riding motocycles and working in the garden. He was very outgoing and had alot of friends.

Mr. Tirey is survived by his wife, Patsy Goins; son, Tim (Leann) Tirey; daughters, Gwen Jacob and Tonya (Rick) Oehler; brothers, Eamil Tirey, Paul Tirey and Earl Tirey; sisters, Wilbie Jean Snizek and Della Preston; seven grandchildren, Jeff Jacob, Jessica Jacob, Ryan Oehler, Jared Oehler, Brandon Tirey, Chase Tirey and Savannah Tirey; and one great grandchild, Avery Oehler.

He was preceded in death by his parents.

The family wishes to thank Hospice of Hamilton, Dr. Scott Glickfield and Dr. Richard Sternberg for their wonderful care.

Funeral Service will be held Monday, January 25, 2010 at 11:00 am at WILSON-SCHRAMM-SPAULDING FUNERAL HOME, 3805 Roosevelt Blvd., Middletown with Pastor Paul Mills officiating. Visitation will be Sunday from 2:00 - 4:00 PM. Interment will be at Butler County Memorial Park.
