Elizabeth Ann Hogsten, 71, of Franklin, died on August 18, 2006, at Hospice of Dayton. She was born in Middletown, on October 28, 1934 to parents Joseph and Francis (Newman) McCullough.
Mrs. Hogsten worked for 29 years at Aeronca, retiring in 1995. She was an avid bingo player.
Elizabeth was preceded in death by her husband, Emmitt Hogsten Sr.; her parents; brother, Joseph McCullough and two infant brothers; sisters, Dorothy Goodman, Mary Catherine McGuire, Janet DeFrates, & her twin sister Margaret “Peggy” Cooper; and great grandchild, Christopher Banks II.
She is survived by four daughters, Etta Hogsten, Jacqueline Miller, Debra (James) Owens, all of Middletown, and JoFran (Donald) Castle of Franklin; one son, Emmitt Hogsten Jr. of Franklin; grandchildren, Scott (Regina) Owens, Michael Merrill, Jamie Banks, Kenneth (Angel) Rogers, Christopher Miller, Kim Johnson, Mandy (Pete) Trenum, Tiffany (Mike) Trenum, Shawn Hogsten, and Krystal Huddleston; twenty great grandchildren; one great great grandchild; and special friends, Teresa Lewis and Debi Johnson.
Funeral Service will be held Tuesday, August 22, 2006 at 11:00 am at Wilson-Schramm-Spaulding Funeral Home, 3805 Roosevelt Blvd. at Bonita Dr., with Reverend Lindsey Smith officiating. Visitation will one hour prior to service from 10:00 - 11:00 am. Interment will be at Woodside Cemetery.
