Elizabeth Gayhart

Elizabeth “Liz” (Presta) Gayhart, 64, of Middletown died on April 3, 2007, at her residence. She was born in Middletown on October 12, 1942 to parents John and Lucille (Nickell) Presta.

Mrs. Gayhart was a dispatcher for the Butler County Sheriff's Office for 17 years, retiring in 1999. She was a member of Edgewood Baptist Church.

She is survived by her husband , Fred Gayhart; a very special niece, Jenifir (Jake) Provateare of Cincinnati; a very special nephew, Chris Presta of Crittenden, KY; step daughter, Lisa (Ray) Townsend of Trenton; stepson, Greg Gayhart of Middletown; three sisters: Nancy (Sonny) Haire of Independence, KY, Veronica (Jim) Gilbert of Middletown, and Margaret “Maggie” Presta of Monroe; one brother: Tom Presta of Monroe; numerous cherished nieces & nephews; four grandchildren: Michael Mullins, Michelle Lewis, C.J. Montgomery and Jesika Provateare; two great grandchildren: Britton and Myleigh Rae Mullins.

"Liz" was preceded in death by her parents and a brother, John David Presta.

A special thank you to Dr. Gaeke and hospice nurses; Anne Marie, Barb, Mary, Judy, Audrey & Asia for their loving care.

Funeral Service will be held Monday, April 9, 2007 at 12:00 PM at Edgewood Baptist Church, 1010 W. State Street, Trenton, with Pastor Keith Risner officiating. Visitation will be Monday, April 9, 2007 from 10:00 am - 12:00 noon at the church. Interment will be at Butler County Memorial Park.
