Elizabeth M. "Betty" Taylor, 92, of Middletown, died Thursday evening, September 22, 2011. She was born in Middletown on January 20, 1919 to parents Edwin L. and Irene (Smith) Scheurer.

Betty was a member of Holy Family Parish-St. John's Church where she sang in the choir. She was also an Elk Socialite and Red Cross Grey Lady.

Mrs. Taylor is survived by her son, Ed (Lynn) Taylor of Middletown; daughter, Liz (Joe) Marconi of Middletown; brother, Robert Scheurer of Lakeland, Florida; grandchildren, Laine (John) Bachman of Columbus, Andrew Marconi of New York City, Nicholas Marconi of Maineville and Elizabeth (Michael) Aderhold of Camden; and a great granddaughter, Emilee Bachman of Columbus.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Hayden A. Taylor in 1995; parents; brother, William Scheurer; and sisters, Janet Shockey & Jean Lee.

Visitation will be Monday, September 26, 2011 from 5:00 – 7:00 pm at Wilson-Schramm-Spaulding Funeral Home, 3805 Roosevelt Blvd., Middletown. Mass of Christian Burial will be Tuesday, September 27, 2011 at 12:00 Noon at Holy Family Parish - St. John's Church, 1405 First Avenue, Middletown with Father John Civille and Father Thomas Gaeke as co-celebrants. Entombment will follow at Woodside Mausoleum.

Memorial donations may be made to Hospice of Butler & Warren Counties, 5940 Long Meadow Dr., Franklin, Ohio 45005.
