Elizabeth Ruth Mercer

Elizabeth Ruth Mercer, 85, of Franklin, died Friday, January 8, 2010, at Atrium Medical Center. She was born in Andover, Massachusetts on July 30, 1924 to parents Duncan McMillan and Jemima K. (Orrock) Bisset.

Mrs Mercer worked for Ohio Casualty for 30 years as a rate supervisor and Vitamin World until her passing.

Mrs. Mercer is survived by her Son, Kenneth R. (Julia) Gillum and Daughters, Susan Elizabeth Woodlee, Carol Lee Gordon and 6 grandchildren, 3 great grandchildren and 1 great-great grandchild.

Elizabeth was preceded in death by her parents and husbands, Vernon Mercer in 2001, Edwin V. Gillum 1970 and Ralph Gordon 1948 and 5 Brothers, and 4 sisters.

Funeral Service will be held Thursday, January 14, 2010 at 11:00 am at Church Of Jesus Christ Of Latter Day Saints, 4930 Central Ave., Middletown with Bishop David Nall officiating. Visitation will be Wednesday from 4:00 - 7:00 PM at Wilson-Schramm-Spaulding Funeral Home, 3805 Roosevelt Blvd., Middletown, OH. Interment will be at Butler County Memorial Park. Memorial donations may be made to Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints 4930 Central Ave. Middletown, OH 45044.
