Eloise Souder Davis, 89, of Monroe, died Wednesday, April 4, 2007, at Middletown Regional Hospital. She was born in Fostoria, Ohio on August 4, 1917 to parents Harry and Bessie (DeWald) Souder.
Eloise worked as an administrative assistant for the Federal Government for 30 years.
Eloise is survived by a sister, Wanda Lou Benninghoff; three brothers, Edward Souder, Lowell (Barbara) Souder, Raymond (Ruth) Souder; a sister-in-law, Ruth Souder; an aunt, Ida Warns; 26 nieces & nephews; and 21 cousins.
She was preceded in death by her husband, George Davis; her parents; three brothers, Kenneth (Lee) Souder, Charles (Betty) Souder, and Harold Souder; sister, Kathryn (Dean) Zartman; brother-in-law, Eugene Benninghoff; sister-in-law, Mary Alice Souder; and a nephew.
Visitation will be Friday, April 13, 2007 from 6:00 - 7:00 PM at Wilson-Schramm-Spaulding Funeral Home, 3805 Roosevelt Blvd. (at Bonita Dr.). Funeral services will follow at 7:00 pm at the funeral home with Reverend Bradford G. Olson officiating.
Interment will be Saturday, April 14, 2007 at 1:00 pm at Fostoria Fountain Cemetery in Fostoria, Ohio.
