Emma C. Garrett

Emma C. Garrett, 84, of Middletown, died Wednesday, November 17, 2010, at home. She was born in Middletown, Ohio on December 30, 1925 to parents Joseph and Mary (Fultz) Martin.

She worked at the McDonald's on Breiel Blvd., Middletown for 25 years retiring in 2004 and was a member of the First Church of God, Germantown where she had taught Sunday school.

Mrs. Garrett is survived by her daughters, Karen (John) Bearss and Rebecca (Paul) Johnson; grandchildren, Jason Johnson and Evan and Ashley Grimes; great grandchildren, Chloe and Garrett Johnson; sister-in-law, Venal Kash and brother-in-law, Charlie Garrett.

Emma was preceded in death by her parents and husband, John P. Garrett; granddaughter, Julie Johnson; sisters, Elvie Bloom, Ruby Peck, Pearl Phillips, Gonnie Hydler and June Martin; brothers, Ernie Martin, Herb Martin and Carl Martin; sister-in-law, Golden Gibbs.

Funeral Service will be held at 11:00 AM, Saturday, November 20, 2010 at WILSON-SCHRAMM-SPAULDING FUNERAL HOME, 3805 Roosevelt Blvd., Middletown with Pastor Steve Carney officiating. Visitation will be 11/20/2010 from 9:30-11:00 AM. Interment will be at Woodside Cemetery.
