Eric Puckett

Eric Puckett, 52, of Middletown, died Monday, February 24, 2003 at Middletown Regional Hospital. He was born in Middletown on September 14, 1950, to parents Earl and Ruth (Smith) Puckett.

Eric worked as a wireman for Square D and was still currently employed. He was a 1969 graduate of Middletown High School. He served as a corporal in the United States Marine Corps during Vietnam, where he received a purple heart. He was a member of the Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 3809 and the American Legion Post 218. Eric was confirmed Catholic at Holy Family Parish-St. John's Church.

Mr. Puckett is survived by his parents, Earl and Ruth Puckett, of Middletown; a brother Steve (Joanne) Puckett of Middletown; and a niece Karen Marie Puckett of Middletown.

Funeral service will be Thursday, February 27, 2003 at 1:00 PM at Wilson-Schramm-Spaulding Funeral Home, 3805 Roosevelt Blvd. at Bonita Dr. with Father John Civille officiating. Visitation will be prior to the service Thursday from 11:00 AM - 1:00 PM at the funeral home. Interment will be at Woodside Cemetery with military honors being conducted by American Legion Post 218 Honor Guard.

In lieu of flowers the family asks that memorial donations be made to Holy Family Parish, 201 Clark St., Middletown, OH 45042.
