Ernest Romans

Ernest Romans, 96, of Middletown, died Monday, September 23, 2013, at Kensington Place. He was born in Middletown, Ohio on July 14, 1917 to parents Frank and Elizabeth (Goode) Romans.

Ernie worked as a die setter at Armco Steel Corporation.

Mr. Romans is survived by his son, Michael F. (Kathleen) Romans; daughter, Rita Beth Hickman; grandchildren, Todd (Vicki) Hickman, Tim Hickman, Terry (Lori) Hickman, Betsy (Mark), Emily & Julie (Chris); and great grandchildren, Ashley, Brittany, Rance, Malory, Logan, Marah, Rowan & Brooks.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Roberta Romans; parents; son-in-law, Bill Hickman; and brothers, Estel, Arthur, Harlan, Willard, Walter & Arnold.

Funeral Service will be held Thursday, September 26, 2013 at 2:00 pm at Wilson-Schramm-Spaulding Funeral Home, 3805 Roosevelt Blvd., Middletown. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service from 1:00 - 2:00 pm. Interment will be at Woodside Cemetery.
