Ernest William Uhl

Ernest William Uhl, 90, of Middletown, died Tuesday, May 13, 2008, at Liberty of Middletown. He was born in Butler County, Ohio on June 23, 1917 to parents William C. and Louella (Banker) Uhl.

Mr. Uhl served his country in the United States Navy during World War II. He had worked for various companies in the area.

Ernest is survived by four sons, Bill & wife Sue Ann Uhl, Tom & wife Cher Uhl, Jerry Uhl, and Bob & wife Robin Uhl; his loving companion, Remona Tucker; a brother, Robert & wife Doris Uhl; cousin, Don & wife Phyllis Stroup; 10 grandchildren; and 8 great grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Jeanette (Madaffari) Uhl; and his parents.

Graveside Service will be held Wednesday, May 21, 2008 at 10:00 AM at Woodside Cemetery with military honors conducted by Middletown Combined Honor Guard. There will be no visitation.
