Ernestine C. Duhamel Lee, 83, of Middletown, died Friday, June 26, 2015, at her residence.. She was born in Blue Diamond, Ky. on February 14, 1932 to parents George B. and Siller (Colwell) Huff. Ernestine retired from Hills Dept. Store as a cashier and also worked in real estate.
Ernestine is survived by her son, John Michael (Lorie) Duhamel; sisters, Mary Jane Ferguson, Thelma Sue (Kenneth) Elam, two granddaughters; Dianna Michelle Duhamel & Tabitha Nichole Duhamel and two step-grandchildren.Ernestine was preceded in death by her parents, brothers Bert, Orville, Adam, Cecil & Clay Huff, two sisters; Grace Wardlow & Leitha Colwell.Funeral Service will be Wednesday, July 1, 2015 at 10:00 am at WILSON-SCHRAMM-SPAULDING FUNERAL HOME, 3805 Roosevelt Blvd., Middletown with Rev. Clay Colwell officiating. Visitation, Tuesday from 5:00 to 8:00pm at the funeral home. Interment will be at Woodside Cemetery. Memorials may be made to The American Cancer Society or The American Heart Association.
