Esther E. Harrison

Esther Ernestine (Gustin) Harrison, age 90, of Middletown, died Wednesday, July 3, 2013, at her residence, in the presence of God and her family. She was born in Monroe, Ohio on November 3, 1922 to parents Ernest and Leota (Chester) Gustin.



During World War II Esther was employed by Aeronca and for 18 years worked with her late husband, Gray Harrison, for Middletown Knothole Baseball Association at Smith Park.



Mrs. Harrison is survived by her two sons, Dale (Janet) Harrison of Middletown & Mike (Mary Jo) Harrison of Louisville, KY; 8 grandchildren, 14 great grandchildren; and 6 great great grandchildren. She was the oldest of 6 children and has 3 surviving brothers. Special thanks to her brother, Gary Gustin, for all he has done for her throughout the years.



She was preceded in death by her husband of 65 years, William Gray Harrison; their daughter, Judy (LaVon) Harrison Dillon; and parents.



Memorial service will be held Friday, July 12, 2013 at 7:00 pm at Wilson-Schramm-Spaulding Funeral Home, 3805 Roosevelt Blvd., Middletown with Jeff Gustin officiating. The family will receive friends prior to the service from 5:00 - 7:00 pm.
