Esther L. Newcomb

Esther L. Newcomb, 82, of Middletown, died Friday, October 3, 2003, at Willow Knoll Retirement Community. She was born in Middletown, Ohio on August 25, 1921 to parents Roy C. and Flora E. (Meyers) Tanner.

Esther was a member of St. Paul´s United Church of Christ, where she was a member of the Ladies´ Guild. She was also a member of Business and Professional Women. She had retired from Magnode Corp. as a secretary.

Esther is survived by her husband, Harold W. Newcomb of Middletown; two daughters, Nancy (Bill) Coleman of Germantown, OH, and Carol (Chuck) Klingensmith of Greenville, PA; one brother, Harold (Debbie) Tanner of Sarasota, FL; four grandchildren, Jayme and Ryan Coleman and David and Betsy Klingensmith; and one great grandchild.

Funeral Service will be held Monday, October 6, 2003 at 2:00 PM at Wilson-Schramm-Spaulding Funeral Home, 3805 Roosevelt Blvd. at Bonita Dr., Middletown, with Reverend Steve Fox officiating. Visitation will be Monday, prior to the service, from 1-2 PM at the funeral home. Entombment will be at Woodside Mausoleum.
