Eunice C. Lacey, 82, of Middletown, died at her residence Thursday, June 27, 2002. She was born in Wolfe County, Kentucky on May 2, 1920 to parents Frank and Mary R. (Hatton) Combs.
She was a health care worker and worked at NCR and Monarch Marking from which she retired in 1983.
Mrs. Lacey is survived by her two sons, James (Shirley) Ferguson of Fairfield and Geroge (Judith) Lacey of Eaton, a daughter, Dorothy (John) Colwell of Middletown, a brother, Eugene (Nell) Combs of Florida and three sisters, Ruby Taylor of Trenton, Omedia Johnson of Florida and Gladys Selby of Tennessee. She is also survived by six grandchildren, Theresa Whiteman, James Ferguson, Terri Fugate, Leighann Lacey Lowe, Holly Bausmith, Bradley Colwell and 8 grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, a son, Larry Lacey, four brothers, Drayfus, Sercy, Robert & Thaddeus Combs and two sisters, Geneva Moore and Josephine Selby.
Funeral services will be Saturday, June 29, 2002 at Wilson-Schramm-Spaulding Funeral Home, 3805 Roosevelt Blvd., at Bonita Drive at 1:00 PM with Reverend Randy Wallace officiating. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service at the funeral home with interment at Woodside Cemetery.
