Eva Combs

Eva Combs, 89, of Franklin Township, passed away on Monday, January 20, 2025 at Spring Hills Middletown. She was born in Viper, Kentucky on March 4, 1935 to parents, Samp and Altis (Turner) Branson.

Eva loved her family well and was a cheerful servant to others. People loved her joyful, kind, gentle, and sweet nature. She was an avid gardener, creative crafter, and amazing cook. But she is most known for how she lived out her faith and love for God, praying for and serving others, teaching Sunday School and sharing the gospel.

Eva is survived by her son, Sam Combs; daughter, Lesa (Chris) Irving; daughter-in-law, Mona Combs; brothers, Roger & Bill; sisters, Evola, Vada, Ada & Terry; 6 grandchildren, Jake (Hope) Irving, Luke (fiancee, Alex) Irving, Misha Premeaux, Josh (Stephanie) Combs, Megan (Isaiah) Blackburn & Eli (Brittany) Combs; and 11 great grandchildren, Brandon, Blaine, Lexie, Maddy, Tori, Grayson, Dylan, Nathan, Roman, Branson & Harper.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Dale Combs; son, Dan Combs; brothers, Kenneth, Oliver & James; sisters, Jean & Betty; and grandson-in-law, Dan Premeaux.

Funeral Service will be Saturday, January 25, 2025 at 1:00 pm at Grace Baptist Church, 3023 Union Road, Franklin with Pastor Jim Winters officiating. Visitation will be prior to the service from 11:00 am - 1:00 pm at the church. Interment will be at Grace Memorial Gardens.
