Flo Evans

Florence Elizabeth "Flo" Martin Evans, 89, of Middletown, died Monday, February 25, 2013, at Otterbein at Middletown. She was born in West Manchester, Ohio on August 11, 1923 to parents Noah Webster and Ianthe (Whitehead) Martin.

Flo had worked for Armco Steel during World War II and retired as a secretary for Union Sanitary. She was a member of Christ Church United Methodist.

Mrs. Evans is survived by her son, Rev. Michael Edward (Pat) Evans; brother, Paul L. Martin; grandchildren, Catherine Leah (Jay) Evans & Julia Lynn (Anthony) Saeli; and great grandchildren, Lorien Evans, Hope Evans, Sophia Saeli & Joey Saeli.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Ralph E. "Red" Evans in 2005; parents; and brothers, Lester C. Martin & Leonard E. Martin.

Funeral Service will be held Friday, March 1, 2013 at 11:00 AM at Christ Church United Methodist, 700 S. Marshall Rd., Middletown with Reverend Norman Coleman III officiating. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service from 10:00 - 11:00 am at the church. Entombment will be at Woodside Mausoleum.
