Florence L. (Matson) McKinley, 96 of Monroe died on Saturday, April 30, 2011 at Hospice of Hamilton. She was born in Middletown on Dec. 10, 1914 to parents Oliver & Alice (Gerber) Matson.
Mrs. McKinley was a member of the Monroe United Methodist Church, the Monroe Grange, Butler County Farm Bureau, Monroe Garden Club, 4H Club Leader, DAR, Middletown Historical Society, Middletown Christian Women, Monroe Red Hatters, supported the Monroe Historical Society and was instrumental in forming the annual farm women's luncheon.
Mrs. McKinley is survived by two daughters; Joyce(Clarence)Jarboe, Susan (Mike) Melampy, two sons: Donald McKinley and Lynn McKinley, seven grandchildren and 9 great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband Raymond L. McKinley in 1991.
Funeral services Monday, May 2, 2011 at 1:00PM at Wilson-Schramm-Spaulding Funeral Home 3805 Roosevelt Blvd. at Bonita Dr. with Rev. Dr. Timothy J. Waugh, officiating. Visitation Monday from 12 noon until 1:00pm at the funeral Home. Interment at Greenwood Cemetery.
