Frank A. Lolli, 85, of Middletown, died Wednesday, January 20, 2010, at Hospice of Butler and Warren Counties. He was born in Chicago, Illinois on May 29, 1924 to parents Eugenio and Jennie (Lungaro) Lolli.
Frank worked in the blast furnace for Armco Steel Corporation for 42 years, retiring as a foreman in 1986. He served his country in the United States Marine Corps during World War II. He was a member of Holy Family Parish and was a past chairman of the Holy Trinity Parish Council.
Mr. Lolli is survived by his wife, Phyllis J. (Parrella Youtsler) Lolli; children, Ginger (Dave) Bruggeman, Karen (Jack) Vehr, Tom (Elaine) Lolli, Frank (Pamela) Lolli, Barbara Lolli, O.P., Eugene (Elizabeth) Lolli, Michael (Annette) Lolli, Paul (Lisa) Lolli, Patrick (Kara) Lolli, Mark Lolli, Tammy (Jim) White, Don (Dorothy) Youtsler, Mindy (John) Roehll, Ella (Jeff) Wadl and Mike (Anne) Youtsler; brothers, Anthony Lolli and Paul (Marolyn) Lolli; brothers-in-law, Richard Rush, Fred (Joyce) Parrella, Andrew (Mary Kay) Parrella and Larry (Connie) Parrella; 26 grandchildren; 13 great grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his first wife, Patricia (O'Flynn) Lolli in 1983; his parents; brother, Jimmy Boy Lolli; and sister, Louise Rush.
Mass of Christian Burial will be held Saturday, January 23, 2010 at 10:00 am at Holy Family Parish - St. John's Church, 1405 First Avenue, Middletown with Father John Civille as celebrant. Visitation will be Friday from 5:00 - 8:00 pm at WILSON-SCHRAMM-SPAULDING FUNERAL HOME, 3805 Roosevelt Blvd., Middletown, OH. Interment will be at Woodside Cemetery with military honors conducted by the Middletown Combined Honor Guard.
