Frank C. Hassler, 83, of Lebanon, died Friday September 2, 2005 at Middletown Regional Hospital. Frank was born July 24, 1922 in Lockland, Ohio to parents Frank and Irene (Burke) Hassler.
Frank worked for General Electric for 36 years as a test facilities project coordinator. He was a veteran of WWII in both the Army and Merchant Marines. He was also an outstanding bridge player.
Frank is survived by his wife of 58 years Marcella Beasley Hassler, two sons Michael (Helen) Hassler of Middletown, Chris (Dana) Hassler of Flowery Branch, Georgia, a daughter Patricia (George) Bingham of Vernal, Utah, three sisters Irene Randall of Fairfield, Mary Bryson of Batavia, Phyllis Boesken of West Chester, and eight grandchildren and ten great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents and his brothers Robert, Richard, Ben, and Bob and sister Juanita Rice.
Mr. Hassler requested no services and his body be donated to the University of Cincinnati.
