Frank G. Capozzi, Sr., 79, of Middletown, died Tuesday, September 27, 2016, at Atrium Medical Center. He was born in Middletown on September 27, 1937 to parents Costantino and Elvira (Sora) Capozzi.
Frank graduated from Middletown High School in 1955. He worked as a roll clerk in the hot strip at Armco Steel, retiring in 1999 after 30 years. He was a member of Holy Family Parish and had served his country in the National Guard. His love of music led him to share wonderful CD music with family & friends.
Mr. Capozzi is survived by his wife, Judith (Davis) Capozzi; sons, Frank P. Capozzi Jr. & Anthony "Tony" Capozzi; brother, Richard (Faye) Capozzi; sister, Ida (Halder) Pearce; grandson, Nicholas Capozzi; special friends, Bret Talley & Fred DeBiasi; as well as many other loving family & friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents and brothers & sisters, Nancy Castellano, Anthony "Tony" Capozzi, Jerry Capozzi, Julia Root and infant brother, Jenerose.
Mass of Christian Burial will be held Friday, September 30, 2016 at 10:00 am at Holy Family Parish - St. John's Church, 1405 First Avenue, Middletown with Father John Civille as celebrant. Visitation will be Thursday from 5:00 - 8:00 pm at Wilson-Schramm-Spaulding Funeral Home, 3805 Roosevelt Blvd., Middletown. Entombment will be at Woodside Mausoleum.
