Frank W. Gustin, 90, of Hillsboro, died Saturday, February 7, 2015, at his home. He was born in Monroe on May 14, 1924 to parents Ernest W. and Leota (Chester) Gustin.
Frank worked as a millwright with Local #1454 in Middletown for 40 years, retiring in 1986. He served his country in the United State Army Air Corp during World War II where he was a radio operator and right waist gunner on a B17 bomber in the European Theater.
Mr. Gustin is survived by his wife, Fran Gustin; four children, David Gustin, Debbie Gray, Dana Gustin & Nancy Gustin; step children, Terri (Bob) Bailey, Steve (Marcia) Markham & Les (Nancy) Markham; brothers, Robert (Delores) Gustin & Gary (Carolyn) Gustin; and many loving grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents and sisters, Esther Harrison, Anita McGowan & Eva Laricchiuta.
Funeral Service will be held Thursday, February 12, 2015 at 1:00 pm at Wilson-Schramm-Spaulding Funeral Home, 3805 Roosevelt Blvd., Middletown with Reverend Jennifer Gustin officiating. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service from 12:00 - 1:00 pm. Interment will be at Butler County Memorial Park with military honors conducted by the Middletown Combined Honor Guard.
Memorial donations may be made to the charity of donor's choice.
