Freda M. Hansen

Freda M. Hansen, 83, of Middletown, died Thursday, April 24, 2008, at Mt. Pleasant Retirement Village. She was born in Wayne Township, on December 11, 1924 to parents Charles and Gertie (Reece) Isaacs.

Freda loved gardening, working with flowers and her feline companion. Mrs. Hansen worked for the Board of Elections as a poll worker and precinct judge. She was a member of Blue Ball Presbyterian Church and Blue Ball Historical Society.

Freda is survived by her husband, Robert Hansen; two daughters, Donna (Rob) Jewett and Linda Darlene Hansen; three grandchildren, Gregory Jewett, Heather Kirkpatrick, and Michael Jewett; and 4 great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents; brothers, Robert Eugene Isaacs and Charles 'Bud' Isaacs; and sister, Sarah Catherine Beedle.

Funeral Service will be held Tuesday, April 29, 2008 at 10:00 AM at WILSON-SCHRAMM-SPAULDING FUNERAL HOME, 3805 Roosevelt Blvd. (at Bonita Dr.), Middletown, with Reverend Kevin Lawler officiating. Visitation will be Monday, from 5:00 - 8:00 pm at the funeral home. Interment will be at Miltonville Cemetery.
