Frederic J. Chaputa

Frederic J. Chaputa, 87, of Kettering, Ohio, died on Thursday, March 13, 2003, at Hospice of Dayton. He was born in Middletown, Ohio on August 9, 1915 to John and Appolonia (Takach) Chaputa.

Mr. Chaputa worked for McGraw Construction as a pipe fitter, retiring in 1972. He was a lifelong member of Holy Family Parish - St. John´s Church and member of the Loyal Order of Moose #501. He was an avid golfer, fisherman, and motorcycle enthusiast. He was an extensive traveler.

Frederic is survived by, one sister: Helen M. Hermetz of Kettering, OH.

He was preceded in death by his parents; one brother, Tony Chaputa; and two sisters, Elizabeth Feinerer, and Rose DeNeene.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held Saturday, March 15, 2003 at 10:00 AM at Holy Family Parish - St. John´s Church with Father John Civille as celebrant.
