Frederick J. Krause

Frederick J. Krause, 72, of Middletown, died Tuesday, August 14, 2018, at home. He was born in Middletown, Ohio on April 18, 1946 to parents Arno K. Krause, Jr. and Mary (Chupka) Krause.

Mr. Krause was an employee of AK Steel for over 42 years. He was a member of Loyal Order of Moose #501, Eagles Aerie #528, Disabled American Veterans Chapter #131, Veterans of Foreign Wars Post #3809, Kentucky Colonel and the Ohio National Guard.

Mr. Krause is survived by his wife, Diana Risner Krause; sons, Frederick A. Krause, Dan (Melissa) Lawwill, Jeff (Gina) Lawwill; sister, Eleanor Mary Bishop; grandchildren; Shelby, Jenna, Jordan; great grandchildren, Ellie, Karson and Maddox; and sister-in-law, Glenda Krause.

Frederick was preceded in death by his parents and brothers, Robert J. Krause and Edward A. Krause.

Mass of Christian Burial will be held Friday, August 17, 2018 at 12:30 pm at St. John's Catholic Church, 1405 1st Ave, Middletown with Father John Civille as celebrant. Visitation will be prior to the service from 10:00 am - 12:00 pm at Wilson-Schramm-Spaulding Funeral Home, 3805 Roosevelt Blvd., Middletown, OH. Interment will be at Woodside Cemetery.
