Gabriella M. Mendicino, 91, of Trafford, PA and Middletown died Saturday, November 16, 2013, at Atrium Medical Center. She was born in Braddock, Pennsylvania on June 15, 1922 to parents Michael and Margaret (Dzugan) Galya.

Gabriella was a member of St. Regis Parish, Trafford, PA and worked as a clerk for the Westinghouse Corp. for 10 years retiring in 1980.

Mrs. Mendicino is survived by her daughter, Roberta Ptaszkiewicz; sister, Agnes Mondry; grandson, Jared (Missy) Ptaszkiewicz; granddaughter, Nicole (Mike) Dalton and great-grandchildren, Dempsey & Andrea Ptaszkiewicz.

Gabriella was preceded in death by her parents and husband, Robert Mendicino in 1979; daughter, Therese Mendicino; sisters, Anna Zavada, Martha Egan and Irene George; brothers, John Galya, Michael Galya and Donald Galya.

Mass of Christian Burial will be held Tuesday, November 19, 2013 at 11:30 am at Holy Family Parish - St. John's Church, 1405 First Avenue, Middletown with Father John Civille as celebrant. Visitation will be prior to the service from 10:00 - 11:00 am at Wilson-Schramm-Spaulding Funeral Home, 3805 Roosevelt Blvd., Middletown, OH. Interment will be at St. Joseph Cemetery, North Versailles, PA on Thursday, November 21, 2013.

Memorial donations may be made to a charity of the donor's choice.
