Gail Downing

Gail Downing, 69, of Lebanon, passed away on Tuesday, September 7, 2021 at Atrium Medical Center. She was born in Middletown on February 29, 1952 to parents, Elmer and Vivian (Heizer) Farler.

Gail had worked in office administration for UniFirst Corporation for 38 years. Gail was everyone's "mom" and was known as Mama G. She was an avid Reds fan.

She was a beloved wife and devoted mother and grandmother and will be greatly missed by her husband of 35 years, Gary Downing; daughters, Heather (Jim) Morris, Holly (Gordon) Lancaster, Missy (Jim) Kittel & Linda Downing; sister, Linda (Reuben) Barela; sister-in-law, Kathy Farler; three grandchildren, Jimmy (Stacy) Kittel, Kayla Creech & Susan Clifton; three great grandchildren, Allora Espinoza & Maraleigh Creech; and her dogs that she also loved, Brady, Benji and Louie.

Gail was preceded in death by her parents; and brothers, Garth Farler & Dwane Farler.

Funeral Service will be Saturday, September 11, 2021 at 12:00 noon at Wilson-Schramm-Spaulding Funeral Home, 3805 Roosevelt Blvd (at Bonita Dr.) Middletown, with Dr. Dan Flory officiating. Visitation will be prior to the service from 10:00 am - 12:00 noon at the funeral home. Burial will be at Woodside Cemetery and Arboretum.
