Gail L. Smith

Gail Loree Smith, 78, of Middletown, died Monday, May 28, 2018, at Premier Estates of Middletown. She was born in Mesa, Arizona on February 22, 1940 to parents Gale and Ethel (Moon) Guard.

Gail had worked as a receptionist for Middletown City Schools. She was a member of Enterprise Baptist Church.

Mrs. Smith is survived by her husband, William Smith; daughters, Sherry (Lewis) Joseph & Tina Pennington; brother, Gerald Guard; sister, Bonnie Clark; grandchildren, Lewis Joseph Jr., Thomas A. Pennington & Christopher Pennington; and four great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents and sister, Maggie Jane Webb.

Funeral Service will be held Thursday, May 31, 2018 at 2:00 pm at WILSON-SCHRAMM-SPAULDING FUNERAL HOME, 3805 Roosevelt Blvd. at Bonita Dr., with Reverend James Anderson officiating. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service from 1:00 - 2:00 pm. Interment will be at Butler County Memorial Park.
