Garrett Forman, 85, of Monroe, died Thursday, February 20, 2014, at Hospice of Butler & Warren Counties. He was born in Hamilton on May 14, 1928 to parents Homer and Glady (Belcher) Forman.
Garrett worked as a tool & die maker for General Electric in Evendale and retired in 1994. He served his country in the United States Navy during World War II and was a member of Benjamin Franklin Lodge #719 F. & A.M.
Mr. Forman will be greatly missed by his loving family, his daughters, Brenda (Bruce) Strohmaier & Carlotta Allen; son, Garrett Edward (Barbara) Forman; brother, Frank (Judy) Forman; sisters, Ruby (Don) Wooten & Della (Bob) Knapp and grandchildren, Ashley Lewis & Steven Allen.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Thelma (Isaacs) Forman; parents; and sister, Evelyn Crouch as well as ten other brothers & sisters.
Funeral Service will be held Thursday, February 27, 2014 at 2:00 pm at Wilson-Schramm-Spaulding Funeral Home, 3805 Roosevelt Blvd., Middletown with Pastor Bob Maggard officiating. Visitation will be prior to the service from 12:00 - 2:00 pm with Masonic service at 1:30 pm. Interment will be at Hickory Flat Cemetery with military honors conducted by the Middletown Combined Honor Guard.
