Gary R. Bowman

Gary R. Bowman, 61, of Middletown, died Wednesday, March 10, 2010, at his residence. He was born in Middletown on August 2, 1948 to parents Robert and Marjorie (Gardner) Bowman.

Gary graduated from Bishop Fenwick High School and worked for Faurecia Automotive Parts Company for 13 years. He served his country in the United States Army during Vietnam.

Mr. Bowman is survived by his wife, Diane (Wells) Bowman; daughters, Kim Bowman Selby and Lisa (Jason) Bowman Jarbo; step-children, Tim (Shawn) Gilbert and Theresa (Eric) Bowman; brother and sisters, Judy Chapman, Sharon (Dan) Corbett and Chris (Rita) Bowman; and grandchildren, Adam & Abigail Selby, Cole, Brooke & Jarin Jarbo, Kaitlyn, Madison & Tyler Gilbert, Lance & Erica Bowman.

He was preceded in death by his parents and brothers, Dennis & Robert Bowman.

A Blessing will be held Friday, March 12, 2010 at 7:30 pm at Wilson-Schramm-Spaulding Funeral Home, 3805 Roosevelt Blvd., Middletown with Father John Civille officiating. A gathering of family and friends will be prior to the service from 5:00 - 7:30 pm at the funeral home.
