Gene Cox

Gene Cox, 63, of Franklin Township, died Monday, December 23, 2013, at his residence. He was born in Middletown on January 28, 1950 to parents Holly and Dorothy (Metzcar) Cox.

Gene had worked as a millwright with Local 1066.

Mr. Cox is survived by his wife, Teresa (Johnson) Cox; children, Gena Cox, Jessica Cox & Matthew Cox; sisters, Shirley Duff, Charma (Eddie) Lockard & Charlotte (Jack) Koeppel; mother in-law, Edith Johnson; and many nieces & nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents and daughter, Valerie Cox.

Funeral Service will be held Saturday, December 28, 2013 at 11:00 am at Wilson-Schramm-Spaulding Funeral Home, 3805 Roosevelt Blvd., Middletown with Pastor Chuck Wolfinbarger officiating. Visitation will be Friday from 6:00 - 8:00 pm at the funeral home. Inurnment will take place at a later date.
