Gene Kash, 77, of Centerville, died Sunday, December 9, 2007, at Miami Valley Hospital. He was born in Middletown, on October 15, 1930 to parents Norman E. and Dolly J. (Morrison) Kash.
Mr. Kash worked for Armco Steel Corporation for over 39 years, retiring in 1990. He served his country in the United States Army during the Korean War and was a member of the American Legion Post #149.
Gene is survived by one daughter, Marylou (Kevin) Phillips; one son, Keith E. Kash; nephew, Ron Kash; sister-in-law, Venal Kash; six grandchildren, Sharon Metcalf, Kenneth Ray McIntosh Jr., Joshua Kash, Danielle Kash, Sarah Kash, and Sydney Goodwill; 3 great grandchildren; and the newest additions to the family, Dustin Phillips, Taylor Phillips, and Sydney Phillips.
He was preceded in death by his son, Timothy Scott Kash; daughter, Theresa Lynn McIntosh; his parents; and brothers, Oliver G. Kash, Ova V. Kash, and Owen C. Kash.
Visitation will be Wednesday, December 12, 2007 from 5:00 - 7:00 pm at WILSON-SCHRAMM-SPAULDING FUNERAL HOME, 3805 Roosevelt Blvd. (at Bonita Dr.), Middletown. Private interment will be held at the convenience of the family.
