Geneva M. Carozza, 89, of Lebanon, died Thursday, September 20, 2012, in the presence of family & loved ones. She was born in Powell County, Kentucky on April 12, 1923 to parents John and Mamie (Halsey) Long.
Mrs. Carozza was a devout Christian and beloved mother survived by her sons, Larry Carozza, Tim Carozza & David (Arianne) Carozza; daughter, Sherri (Gordon) Carozza Lewis; brother, Don (Phyllis) Pelfrey; 12 grandchildren; 11 great grandchildren and 1 great great grandchild.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Samuel F. Carozza; sons, David Fielden Carozza, John Carozza & Michael Carozza; grandson, Gordon Lewis; daughter-in-law, Mary Carozza; parents; brothers, Courtney Long & Victor Harding Long; and sister, Goldie Fugate.
Funeral Service will be held Tuesday, September 25, 2012 at 1:00 PM at New Freedom Church, 15 East Warren St., Lebanon with Pastor Joe Shutts officiating. Visitation will be Monday from 6:00 - 8:00 PM at Wilson-Schramm-Spaulding Funeral Home, 3805 Roosevelt Blvd., Middletown, Ohio. Interment will be at Woodside Cemetery.
Memorial donations may be made to New Freedom Kingdom Kitchen, 15 East Warren St., Lebanon, Ohio 45036.
