George A. Douglass, 81, of Trenton, died on Wednesday, January 5, 2005, at Middletown Regional Hospital. He was born in Trenton on July 30, 1923 to parents Fred W. and Mary (Schenck) Douglass.
Mr. Douglass worked in sales for Armco Steel Corporation, retiring after 40 years of service. He was a World War II veteran, serving in the United States Army, and was a member of the Trenton Moose. George enjoyed fishing and boating.
George is survived by his wife, Marilyn (Cummings) Douglass of Trenton; two daughters, Nancy (Jeff) Saylor of St. Joseph, MI and Susan (Ernie) Redden of Northville, MI; and four grandchildren, Doug & Mark Saylor and Jenny & Aaron Redden.
He was preceded in death by a brother, Robert W. Douglass in Jan 2003; and his parents.
Funeral Service will be held Saturday, January 8, 2005 at 10:00 AM at Wilson-Schramm-Spaulding Funeral Home, 3805 Roosevelt Blvd. at Bonita Dr., with Father George Klein officiating. Visitation will be Friday, January 7, 2005 from 5-8 PM at the funeral home. Interment will be at Miltonville Cemetery.
