George T. Lowman, 58, of Madison Township, died Tuesday, May 1, 2012, at home. He was born in Xenia on March 19, 1954 to parents George Washington and Dorothy Mae (Thompson) Lowman.
George worked as an electrician with IBW 32 in Lima, Ohio. He served his country in the United States Army during Vietnam and was very passionate about automobiles.
Mr. Lowman is survived by his wife, Patricia (Thomas) Lowman; son, Jason (Gail) Lowman; brothers, David Aaron Lowman & Paul Eugene Lowman; sister, Sandra Lee Coates; step granddaughter, Kim Perrin; nieces, April Lowman, Paula Coates, Kristina Evans, Diana Evans & Danielle Lowman; nephews, Mike Coates, Scottie Lowman, Jonathan Lowman & Kevin Lowman; great nieces, Rebecca Coates Puckett & Isabella Coates; and great nephews, Quinton Hughes & Mika Hughes.
He was preceded in death by his parents; brothers, John Wayne "Sonny" Lowman & Claude Douglas "Butch" Lowman; sister, Joyce Evans; nephews, Jamie Liming & Brad Douglas Lowman; and niece, Michelle Marie Mae Cline.
Private Services will be held at the convenience of the family. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that memorial donations be made to the American Heart Association, 5211 Madison Rd., Cincinnati, Ohio 45227.
