Gladys Louise Sausville, 73, of Middletown, New York, died Friday, March 19, 2004 at St. Theresa Nursing Home. She was born in Middletown, Ohio on May 23, 1930 to parents Christian and Josephine Hill.
Gladys worked as an assistant to the dietician at Horton Hospital. She was a member of the Middletown Salvation Army in New York, and the Salvation Army’s Golden Agers and Women’s Ministries. She was a very caring person. Her love and compassion for her family and friends was endless.
Mrs. Sausville is survived by five children, Deborah Sausville of Middletown, New York, Benjamin Sausville of Middletown, Ohio, Gloria (Eric) Ring of Middletown, Ohio, Karen (Rick) Gross of Middletown, Ohio and Edward McKinney of New Castle, Pennsylvania; nine grandchildren, Christopher, Amber, BJ, Kayelynn, Elizabeth, Brianna, Donn, Jerry, Michael, as well as many adopted grandchildren; nine great grandchildren, Matthew, Megan, Chelsa, Tyler, Alexis, Paige, Skylar, Myles, & Myranda; and many nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband James Elliot Sausville; her parents; two brothers, Jack and Arthur Hill; and three sisters, Ellen Sausville, Sarah Rogers, and Edna Smith.
Graveside service will be held Saturday, March 27, 2004 at 10:30 AM at Middletown Pioneer Cemetery, Middletown, Ohio, with Majors Doug and Judy Hart officiating.
