Glenda Sue Downs

Glenda “Sue” Downs, 74, of Springboro, died Sunday, February 4, 2018, at Hillspring of Springboro.  She was born in Middletown on June 10, 1943 to parents Glenn and Effie (Houndshell) Henderson.

Sue worked as a respiratory therapist at Middletown Regional Hospital for 43 years.  She was an avid Cincinnati Reds fan, being a season ticket holder with her husband.

Mrs. Downs is survived by her son, Jonathan (Kim) Downs; granddaughter, Kendall Downs; sister-in-law, Esther Henderson; brother-in-law, Bobby (Betty) Downs; nephew, Scott Henderson; nieces, Amy Henderson & Billie Jo Downs; as well as many other loving family & friends. She was preceded in death by her husband, Billy Dean Downs in 2017; parents; and brother, Tom Henderson.

Funeral Service will be held Friday, February 9, 2018 at 11:00 am at Wilson-Schramm-Spaulding Funeral Home, 3805 Roosevelt Blvd. at Bonita Dr., Middletown with Pastor Ray Phillips officiating.  Visitation will be Thursday evening from 5:00 – 8:00 pm at the funeral home.  Entombment will be at Woodside Mausoleum.
