Granville Paul “Gib” Sizemore, 71, of Middletown, died on November 10, 2007, at his residence. He was born in Hazard, Kentucky on January 30, 1936 to parents Beckham and Gladys (Walker) Sizemore. Paul served his country in the United States Army.
Mr. Sizemore retired in 1993 after 25 years working in shipping at Armco Steel. He was a member of the Eagles #3458, Loyal Order of the Moose #501 and the Meadowlawn Social Club.
He is survived by his wife of 44 years, Mary Ann (Barnett) Sizemore; one daughter: Paula (Rick) Landis of Richmond, IN; two sisters: Beulah Sargent of Somerville and Norma (Estill) King of Holton, IN; four brothers: Joe (Goldie) Sizemore of Somerville, Sam (Tess) Sizemore of Carlisle, Astor (Ann) Sizemore of Hazard, KY and Gary (Betty) Sizemore of Hazard, KY; three grandchildren, Larry Keith, Ana Rastbichler and Jesse Stevens; three great grandchildren, Cameron Keith, Gage Wysong and Kristiana Vickers and many nieces & nephews.
Paul was preceded in death by his parents and brother, Henry Sizemore.
Funeral Service will be held Thursday, November 15, 2007 at 1:00 PM at Wilson-Schramm-Spaulding Funeral Home with Reverend Rodney Williams officiating. Visitation will be prior to service on Thursday from 11:00 - 1:00 pm at Wilson-Schramm-Spaulding Funeral Home, 3805 Roosevelt Blvd. at Bonita Dr., Middletown. Entombment will be at Woodside Mausoleum.
