Harold C. Cole

Harold C. Cole, 88, of Middletown, died Tuesday, June 7, 2016, at Bickford Assisted Living. He was born in Excello, Ohio on January 7, 1928 to parents John C. and Alice Ruth (Donley) Cole.

Harold worked as a scheduling clerk for Armco/AK Steel Corp for 45 years, retiring in 1994. He served his country in the United States Army. Harold was a member of Grace Baptist Church for many years and he enjoyed many things, including classic cars and square dancing.

Mr. Cole is survived by his son, Kenneth A. (Laurie) Cole; daughters, Carol (Tom) Myers & Sheri (Matthew) Zugelder; sister, Ella Clark; 7 grandchildren; and 4 great grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents and brother, Marvin Cole.

The family wishes to thank the staff of Bickford of Middletown, the Mary B unit, for their compassionate & attentive care.

Funeral Service will be held Saturday, June 11, 2016 at 12:00 Noon at Wilson-Schramm-Spaulding Funeral Home, 3805 Roosevelt Blvd., Middletown with Reverend Tom Myers officiating. Visitation will be Friday from 6:00 - 8:00 pm at the funeral home. Interment will be at Woodside Cemetery.
