Harold F. Labarge, 85, of Trenton, died Wednesday, January 27, 2016, at Garden Manor Retirement Village. He was born in Wisconsin Rapids, Wisconsin on January 17, 1931 to parents John and Helen (Kingston) Labarge.
Harold had worked as a crane operator for Armco Steel Corp, retiring in 1991 after 38 years. He had served his country in the United States Marine Corps during the Korean Conflict. Harold was a member of Holy Name of Jesus Catholic Church.
Mr. Labarge is survived by his wife, Martha (Perdue) Labarge; step daughter, Eunice Campbell; step sons, David Reynolds & Steve Campbell; brother, Edward (Lana) Labarge; sisters, Marilyn (Jeff) Tenkoaberg & Shirley Kleven; numerous grandchildren including special grandson, Robby.
He was preceded in death by his parents; brother, William Labarge; and sister, Mary Lou Vevin.
Mass of Christian Burial will be held Tuesday, February 2, 2016 at 12:30 pm at Holy Name of Jesus Catholic Church, 222 Hamilton Ave., Trenton with Father Paul Gebhardt as celebrant. Visitation will be prior to the service from 10:00 am - 12:00 pm at Wilson-Schramm-Spaulding Funeral Home, 3805 Roosevelt Blvd., Middletown. Interment will be at Butler County Memorial Park with military honors conducted by the Middletown Combined Honor Guard.
In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to Holy Name of Jesus Catholic Church, 222 Hamilton Ave., Trenton, Ohio 45067.
