Harry E. Norris

Harry E. Norris, 96, of Dayton, died Sunday, June 27, 2010, at Emeritus at Laurelwood. He was born in Dayton on October 13, 1913 to parents Forrest and Louise (Mirre) Norris.

Harry was founder of Norris Insurance Agency in 1953 which later became the Norris, Leighton & Hall Insurance Agency.

Mr. Norris is survived by his wife, Lillian Norris ; sons, Philip (Vikki) Norris and Timothy (Patricia) Norris; step children, Jack, Jill, Frances, Marty, Candy & Dotty; grandchildren, Darrin Norris, Mark Norris, Jeffrey Norris, Joyce Norris and Brian Norris; step grandchildren, Tammy, Curt & Holly; great grandchildren, Andrew Norris and Kendal Norris Cawdrey; and step great grandchildren, Ashley, Rebecca, Aaron, Tanda & Amanda.

He was preceded in death by his first wife, Mildred S. Norris; second wife, Lois K. Norris; son, Donald Norris; sisters, Dorothy Sipes and Katherine Schmidt; and great granddaughter, Kristen Norris.

Funeral Service will be held Friday, July 2, 2010 at 10:00 am at Wilson-Schramm-Spaulding Funeral Home, 3805 Roosevelt Blvd., Middletown with Pastor Dwaine Tilford officiating. Visitation will be Thursday from 5:00 - 8:00 pm at the funeral home. Interment will be at Butler County Memorial Park.
