Hazel Holliday, 85, of Springboro, formerly of Middletown, died Tuesday, August 12, 2003, at Kettering Memorial Hospital. She was born in Wind Cave, Kentucky on April 30, 1918 to parents Hiram C. and Lou (Lakes) Parrett.
Mrs. Holliday was a member of the First United Methodist Church – Springboro, the Order of the Eastern Star-Ida Morningstar Chapter and was a Red Cross volunteer at Middletown Regional Hospital.
Hazel is survived by one son, Luther E. (Linda) Bailey of Leesburg, VA; two sisters, Marie Williams of Eaton, OH, and Modena Baker of Nicholasville, KY; five brothers, Calvin P. Parrett of Dayton, OH, Luther Parrett of McKee, KY, Edward Parrett of Dayton, OH, Junior Parrett of Berea, KY, and Gene Parrett of Springboro, OH; and two grandchildren, Russell A. Bailey and Taylor A. Bailey.
She was preceded in death by her husband Marvin R. Holliday on March 4, 1998; and her parents.
Funeral Service will be held Saturday, August 16, 2003 at 10:00 AM at Wilson-Schramm-Spaulding Funeral Home, 3805 Roosevelt Blvd. at Bonita Dr., with Dr. Mark Shimer officiating. Entombment will be at Miami Valley Memory Gardens. There will be no visitation.
