Helen A. Case

Helen A. Case, 58, of Middletown, died Tuesday, February 28, 2017, at Atrium Medical Center. She was born in Middletown on July 21, 1958 to parents Owen M. and Catherine E. (Polakovich) Case.

After graduating from the University of Dayton with a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Helen worked in the front office of McGee's Supermarket for over 25 years. A highlight of her employment at McGee's was when her hard work was rewarded with a Caribbean cruise. She then worked at Kroger Supermarkets for 5 years. Helen also volunteered at a shelter for women and children for several years. Some of her favorite memories were those spent on numerous bowling trips with her mom Katie and her bowling friends.

Helen is survived by her twin sister, Mary (James) Ryan; nephew, Matthew Ryan; niece, Kathryn Ryan; and numerous cousins. She will be missed by her family and her many friends from high school, college, work, and bowling. Helen was a loving daughter, sister, aunt, and a friend to all who knew her. She was preceded in death by her parents.

Prayer Service will be held Friday, March 10, 2017 at 1:00 pm at Wilson-Schramm-Spaulding Funeral Home, 3805 Roosevelt Blvd., Middletown with Deacon John Lyons officiating. Visitation will be prior to the service from 12:00 noon - 1:00 pm. Interment will be at Woodside Cemetery.
