Helen B. (Bartlett) Lykins, 69, of Middletown, died Friday, August 31, 2007, at Hospice of Dayton. She was born in Barridge, Kentucky on August 17, 1938 to parents Everett and Edith Mae (Taulbee) Bartlett.
Helen worked in purchasing for Square D and Schneider Electric for over 23 years, retiring in 2000. She enjoyed gardening and was an animal lover, especially cats.
She is survived by three daughters, Michelle (Richard) Adams, Leslie (Jay) Colliver, and Lori (Jerry) Henning; and a son, John Lykins, all of Middletown; her mother, Edith Mae Bartlett; two sisters, Norma Ritchie of Dayton and Janet B. Moore-Adams of Hazard, KY; a brother, Robert Bartlett of Georgetown, KY; and six grandchildren, Whitney Henning, Joseph Henning, Alex Adams, Sydney Adams, Cody Colliver, and Courtney Colliver.
She was preceded in death by her father, Everett Bartlett; and sister, Nina Barbour.
Funeral Service will be held Wednesday, September 5, 2007 at 2:00 PM at WILSON-SCHRAMM-SPAULDING FUNERAL HOME, 3805 Roosevelt Blvd. (at Bonita Dr.) with Thomas Bartlett officiating. Visitation will be prior to the service from 1:00 - 2:00 pm. Interment will be at Woodside Cemetery.
Memorial donations may be made to Springhill Church of Christ Youth Fund, 2021 Brell Dr., Middletown, OH 45042.
