Helen Fall Birch, 86, of Middletown, Ohio, died on Monday, May 19, 2003, at Garden Manor Retirement Village. She was born in Middletown, Ohio on May 24, 1916 to parents Earl M. and Clara (Gingerich) Fall.
Helen graduated from Trenton High School and Holy Trinity Business College. She worked as a secretary for Tom Venable in the Boy Scout Office, then at Wright-Patterson Air Force Base during World War II. She later worked for Reynolds and Reynolds and retired from the City of Dayton. She loved to dance, travel, and participate in the Senior Olympics.
Helen was preceded in death by her husband Randall Birch; a daughter, Wendy Ellen Fall; her parents; a sister, Stella Mae Fall; and a brother, Ralph Fall.
She is survived by one brother: Jim (Margaret) Fall; a sister-in-law, Norma Fall; 4 nieces; and 1 nephew.
A graveside funeral service will be held Saturday, May 24, 2003 at 11:00 AM at Woodside Cemetery with Pastor Chuck Testas officiating. There will be no visitation.
In lieu of flowers the family requests memorial donations may be made to Mt. Olivet Presbyterian Church, 509 W. State Street, Trenton, OH 45067.
