Helen Wooddell Campbell

Helen Wooddell Campbell, 77, of Middletown, died Monday, March 23, 2009, at Hospice of Dayton. She was born in Middletown on December 20, 1931 to parents John and Edith (Gravett) Thornsburg. Helen was a member of Grace Baptist Church.

Mrs. Campbell is survived by her daughter, Brenda (Gary) Morris; brothers, Don (Charlette) Thornsburg, Ed (Gerri) Thornsburg and Barry Gross; sisters, Doris Tudor, Shirley (Gerald) Tudor, Wanda (Bob) Barker and Carol (Dale) Archer; three grandchildren, Jerl Denker, Kelly (Vance) Nixon and Phil (Nicole) Denker; and four great grandchildren, Hunter & Harrison Hulgan and Lauren & Julia Denker.

She was preceded in death by her husbands, Jerl Wooddell and Zachariah Campbell; her parents; and sister, Patty Thornsburg.

Funeral Service will be held Wednesday, March 25, 2009 at 10:00 am at WILSON-SCHRAMM-SPAULDING FUNERAL HOME, 3805 Roosevelt Blvd., Middletown with Reverend Lynn Gordon officiating. Visitation will be Tuesday from 6:00 - 8:00 PM at the funeral home. Interment will be at Woodside Cemetery.
