Hercules L. Fillios

Hercules L. Fillios, born March 21, 1938 in Yanohori, Greece, passed away Wednesday, July 15, 2009, at home with his family by his side.

He is survived by his wife of 45 years, Alexandra (Nikoli) Fillios; three sons, Elias (Mary) Fillios, Nicholas (Amy) Fillios and Phillip Fillios; Papou of Andrew and Alex Fillios; two step-granddaughters, Emi and Abbie Hurlburt; brother, Nicholas (Jenny) Fillios of Clearwater, Florida; and many nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Elias and Evdoxia (Zutis) Fillios.

Mr. Fillios was involved in the restaurant business for 50 years, the last 30 as owner-operator of the Skyline Chili locations in Middletown.

Funeral Service will be held Tuesday, July 21, 2009 at 12:00 NOON at Holy Trinity St. Nicholas Greek Orthodox Church, 7000 Winton Rd., Cincinnati with Father Bill R. Cassis officiating. Visitation will be prior to the service from 10:00 – 12:00 NOON at the church. Interment will be at Spring Grove Cemetery.
